Eleanor uses images of landscape to explore memory, temporality and our connection to the environment. She translates these images through different printmaking processes as a way of capturing and preserving memories and navigating and containing unruly emotions; crystallising the fleeting, intangible and digital into something tangible, tactile and lasting. Her pieces in this exhibition consider the different ways an idea, intention or piece of information are communicated and understood, reflecting on dichotomies of scale and impact and the ways our own interests and assumptions affect our perception.  Shown at Copeland Gallery, London in June 2024 as part of and you would have to believe it by Critical Edge Collective.
