laser-etched woodcut print & mono print on hosho paper, textile

collaboration with Joy Stokes

second iteration - 200x200x100cm

Joy and Eleanor find common ground in their exploration of inhabiting space, the traces that we leave behind and the encounters that leave their mark on us. Gather explores the often unspoken or unacknowledged aspects of inhabiting a female body and its relationship to water and the environment. Raindrops collecting, gathering, expanding and leaking, reflected in the meandering, rippling journey of the paper, suspended as if it were fluid trapped in pools, constrained, until it overwhelms and continues on its way. Shown at Copeland Gallery, London in June 2024 as part of and you would have to believe it by Critical Edge Collective.
